KITA +

Since a while now I have the idea in my head that I want to build up something myself, have my own project, set up a company. I was fighting it for some time... too risky, I am too young, a new change, loads of work etc. tons of reasons against it...

But also lots of pros and a gut feeling which did not let me get this thought out of my head. The idea got more conrete now, setteled down and I even bought a book on how to set up your own business, did research in the field I am interested in, looked into studies related to the field I am interested in and ordered a guide from the roof association my "business idea" belongs to. The guide is brilliant!

You might be wonderning now, what is my idea and will I really set up a business?? Well the initial idea is there but needs to be refined and a business model set up... and if I really set it up? I don´t know myself for now... have to talk to people about it I guess, visit similar businesses and have more thoughts on it.

In a nutshell I am thinking of opening a KITA (which is a "Kindertagesstätte" - a place which looks after kids - normally babies till school age), but it should not be a normal KITA I call my "project" "KITA plus" as working title which means it offers more than the paedagogic child minding. And I would not mind kids myself, you need a special education on this, but I could work on the enterpreneural side of it. If you want to know more about chat to myself.... :)

but as I wrote, nothing fixed, just an idea in my mind and thoughts that a) this would be a contribution to society and helpy changing mindsets and supporting working mums / parents b) this is something I could become really passionate about and would be something which make me go to work with a smile.

summer breeze

So summer is here.... the warm breeze blows through the flat causing a draft which nicely cools down the heated air in the appartment..
mmhhhh summer arrived in all its totalitly... weeks of sunshine have past hopefully more weeks of sunshine to follow...


swimming in the lake and the river.... enjoying sunday mornings at Oberer Letten in Zurich with nearly no people and a refreshing swim in the Limmat... more people will come later the day... but the mornings are quiet, peaceful in the middle of the city. A realm just five minutes from where we lived.

BBQ season started as well. Had already 2 at the river and one at a birthday party of a friend of mine yesterday... being outside, chatting away with good friends... sun sets in the meanwhile...

this is summer... let´s enjoy it, breath it, live it!

And please stop complaining about the heat... remember just 1 month ago... we all were complaining about the cold...

just be satisfied with the moment and enjoy :)
